The FAQ at The Sims 4 Official Website has finally unveiled the recommended system requirements. Unlike the minimum system requirements, these are the ones recommended to have a faster/detailed experience. Here's the quoted list:

HARD DRIVE: At least 9 GB of free space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games

SOUND CARD: DirectX 9.0c Compatible
DIRECTX: DirectX 9.0c compatible
